Colours are used to show contrast and highlight the main focus in a picture. They can also be used to affect the viewer's mood as well as their perception of a particular scene. Moreover, colour automatically makes a photograph more pleasing to the eye and adds a dynamic element. By using a diversity of colours, like in the pictures I picked, the photographers are able to make sure the colours contrast and compliment each other, showing different tones and shades, making the images even more appealing.
