The element of texture is used in Photography in order to highlight the details and the feel of an object. Texture is also often used to make something look real; form is closely related to texture and by showing the element of texture, form is also shown so therefore the 3-dimensional element of an object can be shown and the viewer able to tell that the object is real. In the pictures I picked, the photographers have zoomed into the objects/scenes; this allows them to catch every single detail so that the viewer can almost imagine what it would feel like if they were touching the objects in the images.
