Image Bank - Movement

Movement is used in Photography to show how something/someone moves or how fast they do. The blurrier the object is, the faster it's moving. This is able to give the viewer a sense of speed and action. Also, using the element of movement in a photograph can also add a dramatic tone to the scene and create an exciting atmosphere for the viewer. Movement doesn't necessarily have to be shown with a moving object/person, the element of movement can be portrayed in any photograph with any scene, like a building for example or nature. As shown in most of the pictures I picked, the easier and simplest way to show movement is by using a blurring effect, this allows the photographer to choose how fast they want their object to be moving.
